Revo, Munich

Hotel und Serviced Appartements in München

Town/City: Munich

The Revo Munich is an innovative hotel concept providing bedrooms as well as co-working spaces and common shared spaces. This versatility puts special structural requirements on the air conditioning system, as the temperature of both the private rooms as well as the open-plan common shared spaces needs to be efficiently and flexibly controlled. A well-thought-out and high-performance solution was needed due to the size of the building and its different areas of use, to guarantee both comfort and energy efficiency.

We installed 612 Venkon units and 91 KaCool D AF units for the air conditioning, which perfectly meet the requirements of the Revo Munich. Both types of unit are equipped with a KaControl controller for precise control and ease of operation. The decision to use fiberglass as the backbone of the controller was necessary to deal with the major expansion of the building and ensure the seamless connectivity of all units. We also used 36 SEL control panels with BACnet for centralized control and 42 meters of Katherm NK trench systems in the shared spaces to guarantee ideal air circulation.

This flexible and tailor-made solutions fully met the specific requirements of the project. Efficient and comfortable air conditioning was guaranteed by the use of fiberglass for connectivity and the integration of modern control systems. Thanks to our open infrastructure and connection to the Apaleo hospitality system, we also succeeded in ideally adapting the operation of the air conditioning systems to the needs of the hotel and its guests.
